Frances Clarke

Contemporary Artist

Frances Clarke is an esoteric contemporary artist based in the United Kingdom. She holds a BA in Fine Art and a Postgraduate degree in Art Therapy. As an international artist, Frances engages in a research-based practice that spans across painting, viewer participation, and positivist science. Her work combines interests in early twentieth-century abstraction, theosophy, health, well-being, and the aesthetic experience. Through this lens, she examines the causal relationship between the art object and the spectator, exploring the wider implications for human connections.

Frances’s socially engaged practice is rooted in her belief in the innate inter-connectivity of all things—human, non-human, animate, and inanimate.
